My husband thought I had lost my mind when I bought a bed in a box, but I'm happy to say he has been proven wrong. So far, guests have loved this bed. It seems slightly larger overall than a regular twin, but flat sheets have worked well. The product description says "storage under the bed" which I think is a bit misleading - you can simply hide things in the open space created by the metal frame. Speaking of which, the frame side guards could have rubber caps or some other protection from bumps and wall dings.
